Left Extruder not working

I have a duel cube and have never been able to get the left extruder to feed. It heats up and I can manually push the filament, but when in the dashboard I hit the feed to us the stepper the whole assembly moves. I changed the plug to the right and it works fine. I think it might be in the mother board. Any help would be great.
